A recovering perfectionist and passionate encourager, dedicated to helping others break free from the “everyday chains” that hold us back in life. When you consider the pressure we endure as women – stress, striving, insecurity, people-pleasing, inadequacy, food and body image issues, perfectionism – it’s no wonder we experience depression, anxiety, addiction and other fallout! I understand, because I’ve lived it.
When my acting career launched with a starring role on ABC’s “All My Children” at age 19, I wasn’t prepared for the intense pressure that came with it. The show triggered an eating disorder that took years to overcome, and I’ve struggled with depression and anxiety ever since. Thanks to God’s ever-present help, I win these battles one day at a time. If you are fighting battles of your own, you can win them, too!
Each of us can break the mold, beat the pressure and be the strong, beautiful woman God created. We are daughters of a perfect Father who loves and accepts us! In Christ, He has set us free from bondage, to live in true freedom. That’s the promise of Galatians 5:1, the foundation of my life and my ministry – speaking, singing, writing – everything I do. The only thing sweeter than experiencing hope, healing and freedom in my own life is being able to share it with you and support you on your own journey!
Whether you need encouragement for yourself or a group of thousands, it’s my joy and privilege to help. Let’s talk soon! In the meantime, I pray you’ll embrace the freedom and abundant life Jesus died for you to have, today and always.
